Cheyanne Rosier is an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience, and New York University, where she received her Master of Arts in Animal Studies. Her research explores intersections of marginalization, and combines her studies of animals with her appreciation of the arts. Her thesis was crafted in collaboration with Tisch School of the Arts, and involved telling the stories of the voiceless with animation. Through immersive internships at the University of Maryland and Howard University, Rosier has cultivated her multidisciplinary interests and cultivated unique academic foundations for future projects. Her broad knowledge has led to early career experiences alongside officials from the USDA and APHIS, where she evaluated the role of agriculturalists in communities, and examined the impact of invasive species on U.S. agricultural development. Rosier’s research continued through her impactful review of socio-political governmental organizations, when she served as the assistant to the Deputy Director of the National Black Caucus of State Legislatures. As the youngest Universal Write Publication’s Board member as Associate Publisher, Rosier exhibits an extensive passion for learning, a love of cultural diversity and immersion, analytical skills, determination, and a drive to understand and help humanity.
Her extensive passion for learning, love of cultural diversity and immersion, analytical skills, determination, and drive to understand and help humanity led her to pursue Psychology, in which she graduated on the Dean's List. Graduating as a member of the National Honor Society, Chess Club, Blacks in Government Oratorical Competition Winner (2014), Student Ambassador, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) STEM Chapter, among other interests in Robotics and Astronomy. Rosier continues her research through an impactful review of socio-political education, serving as an assistant to the Deputy Director of the National Black Caucus of State Legislatures. She continues her education at New York University (NYU) in the fall of 2022, determined to explore the rigor of postsecondary education and scholarship through a Master's Degree.
Dynamic Storyteller
Rosier is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller who utilizes her voice as a published author, artist, and video production enthusiast in order to share concepts that impact the world around us. As someone who enjoys collaborative environments, she works to assess critical ideologies and create new projects with her peers. Rosier's interests are vast, spanning multiple disciplines, including art, animation, writing, digital marketing, climate sciences, and graphic design. As the Associate Publisher of Universal Write Publications, she intentionally applies her research while applying her knowledge to editing, copywriting, and peer review. She now works on developing new IPs that will be transformative in the realms of academia and fine art.
