Marc A. Medley is the principal of an elementary/middle school and the Saturday morning talk show host of The Reading Circle with Marc Medley. Marc attended the William Paterson College in Wayne, N.J., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and holds a Master in Corporate and Organizational Communications Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Master in Educational Leadership(M.Ed) from William Paterson University. He has also studied leadership courses at Princeton and Harvard Universities and serves on the Advisory Board for Universal Write Publications, LLC.
He is listed in the 9th Edition of Who's Who Among America's Teachers, Marquis Who's Who in America 54th Edition 2000, Marquis Who's Who in the East, Marquis Who's Who Among Emerging Leaders, and Marquis Who's Who American High School Students 1980. In addition, he has received numerous awards, including the Alpha Man of the Year Award, New Jersey Air National Guard Outstanding Soldier of the Year Award, State of NJ Department of Education 2003 Governor's Teacher Recognition Teacher of the Year Award, 2004 Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Z-HOPE Community Service Award and Paterson City Council Citations for his work with the youth of Paterson. He is also the recipient of the James A Dykes Sr. Education Award presented by the Rotary Club of Paterson Club #70, District #7490, and the William Paterson University 2009 Maltese Award for Best Speech Based Program on WP88.7 FM, The Reading Circle with Marc Medley.
Professional Educator
Mr. Medley served as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University and at Passaic County Community College. He is a member of St. Luke Baptist Church and is currently a member of its Deacon Ministry. Marc served as the N. J. State Vice-President Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and served in the NJ Air National Guard for 9 years as a jet engine mechanic for the 108th Air Refueling wing. His hobbies include cycling, reading, and flying on the flight simulator.
