Marcus Watson, Ph.D., M.A.

“To the extent we are entranced by the modern world’s “big shiny things” and addicted to its “conveniences,” we appear oblivious to the pathologies these phenomena sew into the heart of humanity. ”

Associate Professor, Africana Studies

Dr. Marcus Watson earned his Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology in 2010 and has since taught and researched for thirteen years—nine years at the University of Wyoming followed by the last four years at Buffalo State University.

The Author’s Voice
